In the heart of ‘Theatreland’, this iconic Covent Garden pub dates from 1763. Known for its association with the Bow Street Runners, Britain’s first police force, the cellar hosts a former prison cell, while the upper five floors house five unique party spaces.
We have closed our doors today for some much needed TLC, a top to toe refurbishment is under way to restore your much loved and favourite traditional pub in Covent Garden.We’ll be back and ready to swing open the doors again end of March, we’ve got lots of exciting news about our rooftop garden so keep in touch and our bookings remain open we’d love to hear from you!
